Each student will be required to prepare two 30-minute practice counseling sessions (mock sessions). These sessions will be video-taped to DVD format. Students will prepare a 10 minute verbatim transcription from a portion of the interview. The transcription will also include a 3-page critique of the skills demonstrated in the counseling session. Important reminder: confidentiality and informed consent are of the utmost importance in the completion of this project. Specific instructions and guidelines regarding the nature of this assignment and its completion will be given in class.
