After going through the PowerPoint and doing the reading, watch Bruce Conner “A Movie”. Isolate one or two shot sequences that employ the Kuleshove effect. How do you make sense of the these sequences? And how do they affect your understanding of the meaning overall? What are some of the general themes that the film in general established by means of open association? Write a statement no less then 300 words that respond analytically to the reading.
Part 2: reflective journal, 100-150 words, briefly discuss the Palmquist reading. What are some of the challenges that you might expect trying to write an effective paper? And how might you cope with them.
