The following activities are considered a minimum for participation for this forum: INITIAL POSTING (maximum of 2 points): Each student will post the same responses to the case study that they provided the instructor last week in the form of a .doc. This initial posting must be made no later than (NLT) Tuesday evening for full grade consideration. To make this posting, simply click on this discussion forum link and post your responses to the case. CLASS ASSESSMENT REVIEWS (maximum of 6 points): Each student will review at least three other student responses to the case study and make an assessment posting to each of these 3 students initial postings. These review postings should highlight the points that you feel were the strongest or most noteworthy that the student made; and then address areas that you feel were either weaknesses or differences from your responses or others that you have read. Each assessment must have positives and deltas to receive full grade consideration. All class assessments must be completed no later than Friday midnight. ASSESSMENT RESPONSES (maximum of 2 points): Each student should respond back to each of the 3 assessments made about them. Students will receive credit when they post substantive responses to each of the 3 reviews. Simply agreeing or appreciating a response is not considered substantive. Responses should: Encourage additional discussion by asking follow-up questions so that your fellow students thinks more deeply. Share your own experiences in relationship to the topics being discussed. Suggest other solutions; constructively disagreeing at times. Refer to course readings; apply these course readings; asking your fellow candidates how they are applying the course readings or address their understanding of the course readings in relationship to being a faculty member for our institution. Demonstrate your content knowledge in relation to our discussions. For these class case assessments, students can receive a maximum of 10 points for this weekly assignment with up to (2) points given for the student’s timely initial Posting to the discussion question; up to (6) points given for the student’s class assessment reviews; and up to (2) points for the assessment responses.
