● It should start with a topic or theme from Ross Gay’s The Book of Delights. This should be an area of uncertainty, curiosity, conflict, or something that need more perspectives.
● It should argue a clear and nonobvious claim about its topic
● It should synthesize the perspectives of at least six authors (Gay counts, Gay + 5 = 6)
● It must (due to course requirements) be at least 2,000 words (not including Works Cited)
