Option A
Provide an example of a disaster and the occupational health consequences of the event. How was it handled? What are your thoughts and recommendations for ways to improve the response? As an example, how can we protect the health of our healthcare providers including EMTs and paramedics who were on the frontlines of dealing with COVID-19? Many providers tested positive throughout the USA; many others were in quarantine, some died from COVID-19 complications and some committed suicide.
Option B
Elaborate as to why you think it is important to remember people with disabilities in all phases of emergency management. If necessary, feel free to provide an example or we can stay with the situation of COVID-19 or monkeypox. What are your thoughts and recommendations for ways to improve the response?
