There will be 3 paragraphs each poem. This means that THIS IS NOT A COMPARISON and must include quotes.

Driven by a desire to deliver specific messages to their differing audiences, The story of a single hour by Kate Chopin, Disabled by Wilfred Owen, and Still I rise by Maya Angelou, all powerfully incorporate the theme of isolation into their work.The term ‘isolation’ refers to the act of being separated from others or being alone, and each of the three texts mentioned present a character who experiences emotions as a result of this treatment. Despite this shared presentation, the three texts utilise the idea of isolation in different ways whether this is exploring the pain isolation brings (Disabled), the freedom it can bring (The story of an hour), or how it can be presented as a part of a past that people are able to grow from and overcome (Still I rise).

discuss how “ms mallard” is referred to her marriage name (she has no personal identity) until her husband has passed away where she has been referred too as “Louise” (her real name)
For the 3rd quote (para 3) in this use – “free! Body and soul free!” She whispered.
Zoom into the words body and soul how can we imply she a victim of mental and physical abuse.
Still I rise –
Racial segregation
Talk about how she was similarly a victim of abuse in all ways, now she’s putting out a message she’s confident what ever happens she will always rise. (She’s a strong women)
