My thesis is “There is not one specific event that made Ralph Waldo Emerson an abolitionist, instead it is a compilation of events that pivoted his perspective of slavery during the 19th century.” This is my thesis statement but I am open to it being revised/edited as long it’s a topic along those lines.
– Information needs to be in chronological order
– Needs to be in mla format and mla in text citations
– Needs a works cited
– At least three sources of scholarly literary criticism from peer reviewed sources
