During this course we’ve studied, discovered, and learned different ideologies regarding the human brain, people’s personalities, and discussed addiction at length. One can surmise that these concepts are interconnected whether by design, or by the way an individual was raised.
In Kerry Cohen’s memoir Loose Girl, her addiction to sex was related to her desire to fill the void that her parents left inside of her. In Gillian Flynn’s novel Sharp Objects Camille uses cutting to fill that void. Both concepts are the same, but their coping technique differs significantly.
It is your job to compare and/or contrast these two novels. You MUST integrate some concepts from our Psychology book and the topics we discussed.
