Your group will look at the recent industrialisation of Vietnam. You will research the emergence of private firms in Vietnam and the current role of state-owned enterprise in the Vietnamese economy. You will discuss whether Vietnam version of state capitalism is close to its Chinese counterpart or whether as suggested in the Economist article closer to Singapore development model. Your report should be no more than 2000 words. References do not count towards the 2000 words.
