You will select a recent article on a course related topic. You may select an article from the list provided or choose one on your own. Write an up to 3-page (double spaced) review of the article choice including the following 3 sections: Summary, Reflection, and Practical Application.
• Summary: Approximately 1 page should be a summary of the study. Link anything that you are writing about to what you are learning in the class. Your summary should be giving the reader an understanding of the essence of the article; this is not a reiteration of the article.
• Reflection: The reflection should include your own opinions about what you are reading based on your experience and other reading.
• Practical Application: The practical application section of the document should include your own recommendations for application of the potential tools, methodologies, innovations discussed in the reading. If the article you are reading presents ideas you may not agree with, write about practical application of what you would propose instead. Specifically, provide 3-5 ideas for how the findings in the study could be applied to practice. These should be concrete ideas that can be implemented by an organization. Each practical application idea should be specific (not broad or vague) and be explained in a clear and concise paragraph. Separate and label the three sections of the paper.
