Write a 1 to 2 page description of all your planned data analysis procedures for your proposed dissertation research.
“Data Analysis” will be a Level 1 heading.
Include research question, data sources, and data analysis alignment table that depicts each research question, the data sources, and the data analysis methods that will be used to answer that research question. Make sure this table is referenced in the text of your paragraphs.
This section should describe any quantitative and qualitative data analysis methods you plan to use as part of your dissertation research.
For quantitative data analysis (level 2 heading), you should describe your plans for any descriptive statistics and statistical tests. Mention alpha levels for significance if needed. Refer to the examples from your previous statistics courses for what should be included.
For any qualitative data analysis (level 2 heading), the anticipated process of data analysis should be described. If you have multiple sources of qualitative data, be sure to mention each type. Also include a description of how you plan to represent your findings (e.g., narrative text through themes and thick, rich description, a table display with assertions, evidence, and descriptive narrative). Refer to the examples from this module on data analysis for what to include.
