We will listen to the story of Barnabas as told in the Bible and then as a short story. We will discuss features that were used to take it from a few verses in scriipture to something more. You will select your own Bible story from Jesus’ life on earth to build a short story. You will work through characters, setting, and plot. Pictures will be provided to get a sense of the area during the time of Christ. Your completed short story is due November 28th. The story is when Jesus had come down from the mountain, great crowds followed him; and there was a leper who came to him and knelt before him, saying, “Lord, if you choose, you can make me clean.” He stretched out his hand and touched him, saying, “I do choose. Be made clean!” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed. I would like the leper name to be Jacob
