This paper should cover diets for lifting weights. I have attached the 2 artifacts that must be used along with the instructions below. I need this done as soon as possible, but if you can’t get it done by tonight, I can get a slight extension. 1500 word minimum!!!! To begin, you will select two artifacts that address the issue you have identified in Project 1. The goal is to work with a single subject but two very different rhetorical approaches to that subject. Then, you will closely consider (read, examine, ponder) and analyze (identify features and explain their function) the artifacts. In order to perform a rhetorical analysis, you will need to have a strong grasp of the subject of the artifacts and a basic understanding of the genres. Only then can you turn your attention to analyzing the rhetorical strategies each employs, including genre conventions, context, author, audience, purpose, rhetorical appeals, exigence, medium, constraints, metaphorical language, active and passive voice, use of visuals, organization, structure, tone, and formality. Finally, you will write an essay that analyzes your two artifacts, paying particular attention to the rhetorical strategies each employs and, perhaps, the effectiveness of the texts. This is in large part a comparison/contrast essay built around rhetorical terminology and solid evidence to support your findings. Documentation Style: Use the documentation style of your field, Times New Roman, 12 pt. font, double-spaced. Make sure to implement some of the following as well: Context – what is the (rhetorical) situation? Audience – who is the artifact intended for (how do you know)? Purpose – why did they make this artifact/what are they trying to accomplish (how do you know)? Exigence – what problem does the artifact address Genre (inform, persuade, storytelling) – how does the author/composer respond to the rhetorical situation? Mode – what mode (written, audio, visual, a combo) did the author choose & why do you think they chose that? Media – what media (print, digital, face-to-face) did the author choose & why do you think they chose that (for their purpose and audience)? Constraints – what limitations come with these choices? Style (tone, voice) – what mood was the author trying to put the audience in? how can you tell? Why did they choose this? How much of themselves do they expose in their piece? Design – what does the artifact look like? Why did the author/composer make those choices (color, font, image, format, etc.)? Sources (authoritative, bias) – what sources does the author/composer use for their work? What does that do for their artifact? Appeals (logos, pathos, ethos) – You should address all three of these with examples and in detail. As you write, remember the purpose is to show how these two composers/authors and their different artifacts address the same issue to their intended audiences through the rhetorical choices they make. As you write, remember to ask yourself some of the following questions: What assumptions has the composer made? How are they getting their point across? Why have they made the choices that they have? How do they appeal to logic & emotion & establish credibility? Do you think they were successful? WHY or WHY NOT? (what worked/didn’t & why) ETHOS, PATHOS, LOGOS MOST IMPORTANT I will throw in extra money regardless, but will give more if this is finished by 11:59 EST Tonight. This should be in MLA Format. Use the following artifacts: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6163457/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V3T9zdvliB8 I have also attached an excellent example essay to base this paper off of.
