This is a group project, but I am given the portion of Number 2, Industry Structure. If you could find the answers to the questions from A to K and implement them in the research paper as well as the analysis of Industry Structure
, a. Describe the total revenues and profitability of the industry over the past few years
. b. Explain the underlying driving forces that cause the profitability of the industry.
I have to do some slides for the presentation, so I was thinking that the research paper could go something like this.
You can introduce the paper about Costco and try to define it as narrowly as possible. Then, write about it geographically being global and regional and how it continues to grow, and name some countries where it is located. Also, include all the product boundaries of the industry.
Then, talk about the revenues over the last five years for the industry as a whole if you can find all the different amounts of revenue that each product category made for the year 2023. This question would be like answering ( b. Explain the underlying driving forces that cause the profitability of the industry.).
From here, you can answer C to K and write the information you find on the paper.
For one of my slides, I want to put a picture of how Costco implements its store to make customers go through the whole store. Find some research about this and put it in the paper. Thanks. Let me know if you need the picture to put it in the works cited and the paper.
