This 3-5 page paper (double spaced, 12 pt. Times New Roman font) should introduce a topic of interest to you that is relevant to the Virgin Islands using the agroecological perspective. The topic may be anything you find interesting, as long as 1) it is relevant to agroecology and the Virgin Islands, 2) it is interesting to you. You are encouraged to look at current or recent events within the Virgin Islands to determine a possible topic. These topics will form the basis for discussion of the last portion of Unit 7. You are encouraged to use this opportunity to customize the course to your particular interest! Please feel free to take advantage of office hours to discuss your topic of interest further with me. No citation of source is necessary, though it is appreciated, and any and all outside research you do for this paper will only strengthen it and its usefulness to you.
