The use of technology in therapy practice is unavoidable and can often provide convenience in many aspects of practice. It is the responsibility of each clinician to know and understand HIPAA compliance and how it relates to their practice.
Compile a list of at least 10 HIPAA-compliant resources for use in future practice as an MFT. These resources might include tools such as HIPAA-compliant email, teleconference hosting, schedulers, and online casenote services. Include links and APA citations when applicable.
