The student will produce a 5 to 7 page scholarly book report on one of the listed books. There are no book substitutions. The paper needs to be double-spaced 12-point type with 1.25-inch margins. All papers should have a title page on which the student places their name, title, class and date. There is no need for large fonts or pictures on the cover sheet. All work must be properly cited using the APA style. Any facts not commonly known, quotes, or specific facts and figures, must, at a minimum be cited. Students must use references beyond the textbook and class lectures. Exclusive use of Internet sites and cut and paste papers will receive a lower to a failing grade. All papers must be composed of a minimum 80% of the student’s own words.
