The 4 works I have selected are “Mother Tongue” by Amy Tan, “Sonny’s Blues” by James Baldwin, “Gate A-4” by Naomi Shihab Nye and “Real Women Have Curves” by Josefina Lopez.

You can use quotations from all of the sources that provide evidence to support your argument as well as proper MLA citation and works cited.
