Use strategic brand management concepts from, “The Brand Flip,” to provide a variety of views of Blue Apron. The result of this paper is to have two well-developed brand analysis tools that could possibly be inserted into a Brand Audit.
BRAND COMMITMENT MATRIX (pages 46-49, 67). Please read pages 46-49 intently to understand how to complete this matrix. Then, produce a graphic similar to the one on page 67. (Graphic can be just text I can design on my end.) Provide brief information to explain key brand attributes.
Select any 1 of the following 6 tools to illustrate additional analysis of Blue Apron brand issues:
1. INTANGIBLES THAT ADD VALUE (page 26). From this list of 25 select 4 that are most important to your brand. Provide a brief explanation about the brand’s use (or non-use) of each of the 4 intangible assets.
2. AUTHENTICITY SCORECARD (page 55). Grade your brand in these areas. Provide explanations for any very low or very high scores.
3. TOUCHPOINT MENU (page 72). Modify this example to apply to your brand. Present 2 to 4 factors in each of the four quadrants. Briefly discuss 4 that are the most important to the brand.
4. BRAND EXPERIENCE MAP (page 75). Modify this example to apply to your brand. Present 2 to 4 factors in each of the four quadrants and briefly discuss 4 that are the most important to the brand.
5. WHAT CAN YOU FIX? (page 82). Review these 15 questions. Select 4 that are important to your brand and need repair. Provide your ideas on how the items can be fixed.
6. THE SEVEN ENEMIES OF SIMPLICITY (page 102). Select 3 out of the listed 7 items that best relate to your brand. Briefly discuss the strengths and weaknesses in these 3 areas where simplicity may be needed (or the brand is doing a great job delivering simplicity).
