Overview
The final project for this course allows you to research the roles and systems of a nonprofit organization. One of the best sources for gathering information about the hot topics in a field of study is to speak with people who are practitioners and review the organization’s published materials.
You were tasked with creating a list of questions for your interview instrument in Milestone Three.
Five major parts were required, plus the challenge question. You were asked to reframe each of these in your own words and personalize the questions according to research you had already collected about the organization. You were asked to have no fewer than twenty questions prepared, with at least five being original and crafted by you.
Now that your interview has been completed, compile and organize your notes from the interview experience to submit for this milestone.
Directions
Write a three- to five-page interview report on the interview experience, including a brief overview of the seminal findings based on the interview notes. Specifically, you must address the following rubric criteria:
Overview: An overview that describes seminal findings of the interview based on interview notes.
Events, people, and other information that have significantly impacted this nonprofit, its formation, and its purpose.
Required Parts of the Interview: Responses to the questions asked per the five required parts of the interview and the challenge question.
Purpose of the interview, historic information, structure of the organization, operation of the organization, organizational relationships, and the challenge question.
Original Questions: Responses to the minimum five original questions asked in the interview.
These five original questions may be relevant to the five required parts noted above (more detailed, complex, or probing questions), or they may be entirely unrelated and simply interesting information you would like to collect.
What to Submit
No specific format is required for this interview report assignment. You may submit your questions and answers printed as a script or provide a drafted review in your own words. Either way, be sure to address and note all questions asked and answered within the interview. Be sure to include a written overview. If you choose the review approach, your submission should be at least three pages long; it may be much longer if you select the script style.
