Assignment Instructions:
Prepare a Power Point presentation that you will verbally present to the class of ten minutes duration. The presentation is about the application of ONE psychological therapy to ONE specific disorder.
Steps:
Pick a specific psychological therapy. It can be one covered in the course or not. Examples of therapies you may talk about are Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Psychoanalytic Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy or Family Therapy.
Pick a disorder or class of disorders and give the DSM-V classification for this disorder.
Define the main ingredients of the therapy approach to the disorder you have selected. Identify the core components of this therapy.
Using the psychology databases available from the library, find recent research on the use of this therapy on the disorder you have picked.
Read and review the research for the effectiveness of this particular therapy in treating this disorder.
Identify the implications of this research for psychological practice in treating the disorder in the UAE.

i forgot to remark that i need speakers notes since this will be a presentation and i wanted the notes to differ from the information on the presentation, so it wouldnt look like im reading off of the slides
