Myths and Facts about A Human Relations Topic Assignment
Many psychology topics are misunderstood. There are a lot of myths and misrepresentations about in social media and the press about these topics. Remember we are talking about human relations not human resources. Political topics are also not psychology topics. Also, this topic can be completely different from your research project.
STEP 1: Your task is to create a brochure about the myths and facts about a specific topic to help educate the public. The brochure must be at least 2 pages and be visually appealing and organized. You can use any type of program you’d like, such as Microsoft Word, Google Docs, LucidPress, Flipsnack, or Canva.
If images are used, they must be openly licensed. You can search for openly licensed images on Google’s advanced search option.
STEP 2: There should be at least 3 areas of content in your educational brochure. Two of the areas must be myths and facts and the third area could be something else of your choosing such as statistics, facts, resources, etc. Each content area should have between 3 to 5 bullet points (i.e. 3-5 myths, 3-5 facts, etc.). Sources for your information must be listed in APA format on the last page or column of your brochure. Have fun and be creative!
Brochures without references will not receive a passing grade.
