• Site visit – Identify a warehouse or
distribution centre or a Third Party
Logistics (3PL) provider of your choice,
and arrange a site visit for the group.
• Compile a detailed profile of the
warehouse, distribution centre or 3PL.
• What is the organisation’s value
proposition – What does the warehouse,
distribution centre or cross-docking
facility deal with?
• Are the operations in-house to an
organisation or outsourced?
• Describe the clientele if outsourced.
