In this journal assignment, you are encouraged to reflect on the different types of bias that can occur in research. Reflecting on the studies you examined for your Literature Review and your own interpretations, address the following:
In your own words, describe the different types of bias that may come into play in the studies you reviewed (for your Literature Review) and in your own conclusions.
Be sure to address cultural bias. For example, as you consider your own research, how might cultural bias come into play in your own research or the studies you reviewed?
Looking at your Literature Review resources, where were the majority of your studies conducted? Who comprised the sample subjects? Were they college students? How might this impact the generalizability of the research?
