I have a paper to write that i need assistance with.
Welcome to Module 4! Throughout this module we’ll be exploring the US in the mid to late 20th century, as the nation wrestled with its new status as a world power and the Cold War dominated much of American politics and culture. American culture and Americans’ relationship with their government was transformed over the course of these decades.
You will also be submitting your Rough Drafts at the end of this module. As you consider your thesis statement and sources, keep in mind the guidance you’ve gotten throughout the course. How will these books and articles help you to build your own argument in your research essays? It could be helpful to review both the resources posted with the assignment and my previous advice.
I’ve included a sample of a history paper in the Research Paper Assignments module. While this is not exactly the type of research essay you are working on for this class, it gives an example of how a historian (me) builds an argument and analyzes evidence/sources. Because it is the notes/script for a presentation it doesn’t have exactly the same formal format and citations as a research essay and it is closer to a rough draft than a polished argument.
