Topic discussion post:
For my research topic i’ve chosen Louis Armstrong. Louis Armstrong influenced jazz as a genre and created new standards for it with his trumpet playing and vocal stylings. He made scat singing popular for that time which had a significant influence in music. Armstrong not only impacted music for that time but also in todays music especially with breaking racial barriers and showing deep emotions and expression through his music. There was a global influence that he had when he not only mentored musicians but by passing on his passion for music. Louis Armstrong had influenced music and his music will continue to influence music today.
