Read the following chapters:
2,3,5,6,7,22,33,39,40,48,54,55,58.
After reading these chapters answer the following questions.
1. Which of these rules makes sense to you when thinking about how a monastery should be operated?
2. Which of these rules does not make sense to you when thinking about how a monastery should be operated?
3. Could you live under the rules of a Benedictine Monastery?
In doing this assignment you must fit all the rules into one of the categories given in Questions 1 and 2. You can not just pick out one or two rules for each question. As a note: Do Not read Chapter #4 and use it in this paper assignment.
NOTE: Be sure to explain why you think the rule does or does not make sense to you in questions one and two. Also, a yes or no answer is not acceptable for question three. Give a brief explanation of why you think you could or could not live under the rules of a Benedictine Monastery.
Paper must be typed.
