For this peer review assignment, your instructor will assign you to a team. Here is what you need to do.
In your initial response, post a rough draft of at least the first page (more if possible) of your descriiptive narrative essay by Tuesday if possible, but no later than Wednesday. Preface your rough draft with any questions you may have and request the type of feedback you wish to receive, just as you would normally compose a discussion post. Then, attach your rough draft by clicking on the image of the paperclip and uploading the file where you have saved your work in progress.
Provide feedback to at least two of your fellow team members by no later than Friday so that you and your fellow students have an opportunity to incorporate that feedback into your final submissions. Scroll through the initial posts of your fellow students. Prioritize responding to students who have not received any feedback yet. If everyone has received at least one response, then respond to the student who has received the fewest responses, and so on.
In order to earn full credit for this week’s discussion, be sure to answer each of the following questions in complete sentences for at least two students by no later than Friday.
1. Did the student remember to title the essay? Would you suggest any changes to the title?
2. Was there an attention-getting hook at the beginning? What change could the writer make to make it even more attention getting?
3. Was the essay clear and easy to understand? What might the writer change to make it clearer?
4. What was your favorite part of the essay—a glow?
5. What one thing could the writer do to make the essay even better—a grow?
Note: Rather than copy these questions into your responses, simply use the numbers instead.
