For this assignment, you will read and respond to a popular magazine article that reports research in psychology. Choose a full-length article that reviews a psychological topic from a recent issue (last 5 years) of Scientific American, Scientific American Mind, Science, Discover, Psychology Today, Time, Newsweek, National Geographic. There are also many other magazine options in addition to this list covering topics such as health and fitness, parenting, diet and nutrition. Topics might include memory, learning, stress, therapy, motivation, mental disorders, psychotropic medication, etc.
Please use the attached link to the Gateway Library for additional guidance on finding an article. Also, view the following tutorials for assistance with how to search for your article. The first video explains more about what we mean by a ‘popular’ article and how to search by a topic (e.g. stress, memory, personality disorders). The Article Summary Paper is to be turned in electronically via Blackboard on the due date in the course schedule. Your paper will be graded based on the rubric posted on Blackboard. NOTE – this is a minimum 3-page paper. Turning in a paper less than three pages will result in a zero.

There are no opportunities to make-up the ‘Article Summary’ assignment that is not completed.
