Choose a topic in psychology. For that topic, find:
A scholarly peer reviewed article and
A popular news article (i.e. from newspaper or magazine)

Write a 3 page paper (not including reference page) that
describes and summarizes both articles (10 points)
compares and contrasts the key points, style, and purpose of the research article with that of the news article (10 points)
determines which source is more objective and less biased and explain why, based on at least 2 additional scholarly sources. These additional sources need to be articles that discuss what makes an article more objective, definitions of bias, the importance of peer reviews and proper research, etc. and will used to support your choice as to which of your first two articles (the research and the news) is more objective. They are not articles about your topic in psychology (20 points)
Paper should be written APA style; be sure to include correct APA citations both in-text as well as reference page. (10 points; includes proper use of APA format, grammar and overall writing)
