Paper 2: What If I Did the Opposite?
Compile a list of character traits from Dyer’s Character Counts. In bullet points, list the character trait followed by a sentence or two describing that trait.
Then, in RED, after each explanation, explain in another sentence or two what would happen if you did the opposite.
This example is silly, but it should guide you:
Healthful Eating People of character choose to eat their vegetables and they don’t eat candy, or they only eat candy in moderation.
Eating candy for dinner each day would rot my teeth, give me stomach aches, and make me lethargic, making me a poor leader as I would have little energy.
Conclude with a short paragraph detailing what you will do to ensure your character is solid. Include clear, actionable steps.
