– Do put in very clear ‘process maps’ – of the ‘current state’ process map (what you started with…) and overlay with appropriate data on the process map (time, volume numbers, £££ value, etc) and then after your descriiption and analysis, your recommendations with the ‘future state’ process map (what it could be… with similar data included – ‘best guess’ projections are fine for this)

Ensure that you put clear ‘numbers’ in (business metrics) throughout your assignment text as well to communicate the scope and scale of the ‘operation’ element you focus on.

7. Conclusion – assignment summary stating potential quantitative and qualitative benefits of your improved process.
The individual assignment for this module should be detailed, analytical and contain data, facts and figures and treated as a serious piece of practical research work.
Make sure that you include data (numbers) e.g. number of people involved in delivering the process, 5KPIs, 4Vs, processing times, queuing times, length of queues, capacity, inventory held, distance of travel, etc.
Have at least 15 academic references.
