Discussion Question: This week we are looking at public opinion and scientific polling. The Pew Research Center is one of the most reputable polling organizations around. Please click the link in the attached document and read through the findings on Americans’ highly negative view on politicians and the state of politics today. Discuss the five main reasons why people are dissatisfied, according to Pew (these can be found in the five bullet points in the beginning of the article). As discussed further down in the article, what is the impact of political polarization on negative views of politics? How do people polled here view the two major political parties today?
