In your opinion are leaders born or made?
Why do people’s perceptions of leaders matter? What traits can someone cultivate if they want to be perceived as a leader or to “emerge” as a leader?
Rubric (10pts)
Substantive Original Post (5pts): The original post contained at least five (5) complete sentences and/or at least 100 words and added substantive value to the discussion. The student provided additional perspectives, shared new resources, or provided interpretation of the issues by using citation and reference lists to back-up opinions, solutions and points of view.
Substantive Response Post to a Peer (3pts): The response was professional, it demonstrated familiarity with the subject (substantive), and it enhanced the discussion by expressing agreement or disagreement through the proper use of citation and sources, OR the response post added new knowledge again through additional sources and citation. Each response must include at least 100 words.
Writing Mechanics – Written Quality (2pts): Response was generally free from writing errors, appropriate to the subjects, and of the quality and clarity expected of junior/senior level college writing.
