You may do so by going to Psych Info at the online UTPB library or you can look up research on Google Scholars. This needs to be a study that is published in a professional journal.
You are to read about the various research designs in your book so that you’re able to navigate the study you find.

1. What is the hypothesis? Remember that it might not be clearly stated; read between the lines and ask yourself what the experimenters hoped to find.
2. Who were the participants? Describe the populations that was studied. Do you believe this population was appropriate to support the hypothesis?
3. What were the independent and dependent variables? How were these variables measured?
4. Based on what you have read in your book, is there anything they may have done differently to improve the study? Remember that research may have a few variables that they may not know are affecting the data and results. For instance, if you are doing research on attitudes on abortion and the only people that fill out your survey are from an infertility clinic, this might be a biased population.
5. Be sure to include the reference to your article. It should be formatted in APA style. See below for guidance.
