Princess of a King and a Queen
I was born in the big city of dreams,
I almost gave up
I did not believe in myself
I thought I had already lost it
I was a wreck
I was broken
But they said trust the process
I started trusting the process
And I become an optimist and a big dreamer,
I have a vision,
I saw another reason to live
Vision to become someone,
And became someone’s parent ,
I knew I would move out of the big apple ,
And become a Queen cowgirl in a new town,
Make friends with new people,
And rule a new town,
Here I am celebrated
I fought a battle
I came
I won
Now! I am celebrated
They said a prophet is never famous in her home ground,
And I said hope should not die,
And it is not over until I win,
Winning is not an option,
And loosing is not my portion,
So, I said I must win
Today, I am a hero
I’ve traveled across the blue sea
Met new people
Learned new culture
And learned new languages
Meeting new people is beautiful
Trying new culture is amazing
Where could I have learned all this without traveling to new destinations
This is a life worth living
I’m glad I never gave up
And I have Conqueror
Giving up is for the weak
So, I tell you,
Don’t Give up
Fight your fight.
So I say hope should not die
Nobody knows when they will win
You may not win now
You may win later
But ultimately, you will win
This is the story of my life
So, I urge you all not to give up.
