There will be four Response Papers assigned throughout the semester. These Response Papers will be nolonger than four pages [really!] and SHOULD NOT merely repeat or use long passages from the articles aspadding in your original essays. I am looking for terseness, brevity, creativity, originality, and even humorwhere appropriate. Better a thoughtful two-page essay than a four-page fluff piece with no original thoughts orcritiques. Response Papers are worth 25% of your final grade.
