The objective of this project is for each group of 3-6 students to prepare a proposal and quotation for a construction project based on the provided documents. The project includes the following tasks:
Study the project’s bill of quantities (BOQ) and any other provided documents.
Prepare a proposal and quotation for the project.
Give a presentation of the proposal and quotation to the class.
The proposal and quotation should include the following information:
A detailed scope of work and technical background of your firm
The project cost and payment schedule
The construction timeline
The project issues and dispute resolution process
Presentation: The presentation should be no more than 10 minutes long. The group should cover the following topics in their presentation:
The project’s background
The group’s proposal and quotation
The benefits of the group’s proposal and quotation
