Part A: Defining Environmental Health The term “environment” can be interpreted in many ways, depending on the context and perspective. Start by looking up the term “environment” in several dictionaries. Take note of the differences and similarities associated with each definition and any examples that might be used to describe the term. Next, think about the implications of these definitions on the specific meaning of the term “environmental health.” You are a working as a public health practitioner within your state of residence and have been asked to discuss the meaning of environmental health with a group of community leaders. While engaging in discussions, you are asked to interpret how recent increases or decreases in population within the area has possibly contributed to current morbidity and/or mortality rates within the state and city. Create a short paper so that i can make a 3 min video reading the answers off of the paper because a video is due for Part A Define environmental health for the community leaders. This video should also work to update the leaders on the latest morbidity and mortality rates within the area. Lastly, explain to the community leaders how changes in population may affect morbidity and/or mortality rates in the area. Chemicals can be classified as toxins (i.e., naturally occurring) or toxicants (i.e., man-made). The overall reaction to toxin or toxicant exposure depends on a number of factors. For example, the length of exposure, concentration of chemical, etc. all play a huge role in whether a reaction will occur within humans, animals, and/or plants. As an environmental public health professional, you have been asked to provide information to a general community audience related to toxic chemicals and potential harms posed to humans and/or pets. In a written response, address the following: Discuss in-detail the five factors that affect responses to a toxic chemical. Rank each value in personal order of importance and provide a brief argument (i.e., no more than three sentences) for each position within your rank. Support your answers with appropriate research and reasoning and initiate comments on the postings of at least two of your peers.
