After locating a LEED Certified hospitality facility, research this facility in detail. Learn about this facility, their sustainable practices, their LEED certification and more. You should gain a very thorough understanding of this facility. Step Three: Prepare a PowerPoint Presentation of Your LEED Facility: Now that you know more about the U.S. Green Building Council and LEED and you have thoroughly researched your selected LEED Certified hospitality facility you will prepare a thorough, detailed, professional presentation that will cover all the following: 1. What is LEED? Provide information on: The history of USGBC and LEED. The various levels of certification. How LEED is applied to/related to hospitality facilities management. Any other interesting information you would like to share. 2. Tell us all about your LEED hospitality facility: History. Location. Facility (type, design, size, number of rooms, amenities, interesting features and amenities, etc.). LEED certification level. The various practices used at this facility to earn the LEED certification they hold and to ensure sustainability in their operations. Please provide a lot of information here. PArt 2: You will look around you and pay very close attention to the marketing efforts of hospitality operations and you will find, share and discuss how marketing is everywhere by completing the following: Research and look at the various marketing activities being undertaken by hospitality operations. To do this you can look at the social media posts and web pages of various operations, read the news/local magazines,watch TV, listen to the radio, look at industry sources (good for info on marketing efforts of larger companies), etc. The point is to pay close attention to see how marketing is everywhere! You will notice a lot of marketing once you start looking! Identify three different examples of how an organization is implementing/using one (or more!) of the tools of the marketing mix in their marketing efforts.
