Now that you have finished Minor Feelings, I want you to answer the review questions below:
Which essay was your favorite, or which essay did you enjoy or learn from the most? Why?
Which essay was your least favorite, or which essay did not impact you much compared to the others? Why?
Choose a quote from your favorite essay, type it out as a quote, and provide a brief analysis (about a sentence or two for the evidence and about two or three sentences for analysis.
Do you have any criticisms for Hong’s work? In other words, is there anything that you disagreed with or did not like? If you do, explain with evidence and analysis.
During this unit, we have referred to Hong’s works in Minor Feelings as essays, but let’s stop and think about that for a second. How would you define “essay”? Based on your definition, are these chapters “essays”?
