General Guidelines
Formatting and Length. The assignment consists of eight reports (A-H) described below. Each component consists of a 500-600 word response (~2 double-spaced pages in Times New Roman, 12-point font). No report may exceed 3 pages.
Writing style. Use a formal writing style and grammar. You may write in first person (“I”).
Be specific. Use concrete details from your observation notes to support your claims. Choose examples that illuminate the point you are making. Be specific.
Explicit connections to course concepts. Make explicit connections between observations, course concepts, and readings. Use academic terms and define them when you first use them in the report. Make at least 2-3 explicit connection to at least one reading in each component and cite the source. List any cited work at the end of each report. I do not expect you to cite sources other than assigned readings for the course. Include a very good descriiption of three ways in which learning about educational psychology will help you to be a better teacher; a very good descriiption of the complexity of teaching and learning; provide three examples about the important role teachers have in educating adolescents; and make reference to field notes. My field work is physical Education(Gym Teacher).
