For this assignment, you will use the Fall 2023 Corrected Dataset file to complete a correlation in SPSS. You will choose 2 continuous variables and create a one-tailed research hypothesis (H1). Based on your hypothesis, you will then run the correlation in SPSS. This is a 2 part assignment.
1. Rename (save) assignment as {yourname}Correlation
2. Students must complete the Correlation analysis to determine if there is a significant relationship between the two variables. Provide problem statement, H0, one-tail H1, and variable identification. Summarize results and interpret what they mean in relation to your H1 (don’t forget to identify the type of correlation). Your alpha (p) value is .05.
3. Students must submit a write-up in APA format using the correct statistical language provided by the text, as well as full sentences and proper English (submit this to the written summary link). Students must also submit the SPSS output (submit this to the output link).
