(1) Brainstorm and think of persuasive arguments that can be made about your home, family, roommates, living area, ability to work-from-home, effects of the shut-down…whatever! (My family promotes…me and my roomies enjoy…my landlord should…etc.)
<
<
(2) Choosing your favorite argument (your thesis), explore your home/around your home to find supporting materials. This does not mean hit the books, but instead, we are going on a scavenger hunt for data! You will use direct observation to find support in the structures, decorations, interactions, memorabilia, artwork, people, places and things within your ow home. This will require you to think creatively about what these images mean.
<
<
(3) Finding at least THREE strong pieces of support, use a smartphone to snap a selfie/photo with the evidence. These photos will act as your three main points.
<
<
(4) Arrange your thesis statement and your three pieces of evidence (photographs) together into a word document. Each photo should include the explanation as to how the photograph supports the thesis argument.
<
<
(5) When finished, in a word document, arrange your thesis statement and three photographs and upload them to the appropriate spot on Canvas.
