ChatGPT in education.
I want to do my Podcast Assignment on ChatGPT in education because I think it can be helpful, but many students use it for everything. I do not think Chat should be used for everything.
I plan to thoroughly research academic papers, reputable online platforms, and educational technology publications to gather credible resources about the use of ChatGPT in education. I will organize the podcast into segments covering the benefits, challenges, and potential applications of ChatGPT in various educational settings. I will most likely use zoom or something of that sort to record.
In the podcast, discuss how a specific technology is used in your area of study/interest.
Examples:
Geographic information systems in agriculture
Learning management systems (like Canvas) in education
Electronic health record systems in medicine
Remote desktop tools in tech support
The podcast should do all of the following:
Introduce the field of study/interest (ex. education, medicine, agriculture, IT, etc.) (general overview)
Introduce the communication technology (Canvas, laptops, VR, remote desktop tools, a specific app) (general overview)
Explain how the technology helps or hinders the field
Discuss what could be done differently now (different technology, different uses, etc.)
Explain what you see happening in the future for this technology in your field
You must verbally cite at least two credible sources (oral citation guide) and include full references for them on your scriipt.
