Client/ Target Group: Who is the consultancy for?
Setting: Professionals working within the private care sector. The target group will be working on the operations and particularly support workers, team leaders, registered managers, and nurses. The reason behind the selection of this particular group is because they are responsible for the day-to-day care of service users therefore will benefit the most from this workshop.
Baseline questions will be asked in order to evaluate the current needs and measure the effectiveness of the consultancy once its fully delivered.
Description of work:
I have been asked to plan and deliver a 1-day Motivational Interviewing skills-based training session aimed at supporting professional staff who work within the care sector to facilitate positive health behaviour change of the clients they support.
Supporting evidence to be compiled for this unit of competence
● A detailed 3000-word case study will be presented, demonstrating the request for consultancy alongside the application of one or more consultancy theories. A clear description and report of the consultancy aims, objectives, deliverables, data collection, timeline, budget, and evaluation process will be included.
● A contract and working agreement conditions document (maximum 3000 words) that specifies the project negotiations, agreed timescales and outcome deliverables, budget and resource planning, feasibility/scoping evaluation/studies, subsequent contract revisions, summary of meetings and correspondence demonstrating reflection on the communications and management of the client-consultant working relationship, consent procedures where appropriate, client assessments of the consultancy process and evidence of formal evaluation, feedback and reports from clients where appropriate.
