Using Google or some other web browser, find a website from the worldwide web which discusses one of the topics from this week’s reading. Make sure to pick a website that helps you better understand a topic covered this week.
Examine the site thoroughly to make sure that it discusses this topic at some depth, and that it is not too advanced for the course. Generally, if you can’t find most of the terminology used on the website in your textbook, the site content is beyond the scope of this course. The site must be a legitimate scientific site.
Do not use any websites associated with the following:
Encyclopedia/Wikipedia Articles
Course Descriiptions
Sites posted by elementary and high school classes
Sites designed to “sell” you on a religious view, a philosophy or a product

While you are looking at the site, copy the exact location given at the top of your page. It begins with http://. Make sure you copy every dot, underline, etc. in the URL (the easiest way to do this is to highlight the URL, right click, and choose “copy” from the drop-down menu). Also write down the name of the site, the author’s name if you can find it, and the last date updated if available.
Next, write a descriiption of the site you visited (about a paragraph long and explain why you found this website helpful to you). Make sure to include in your paragraph a reference to the page number that corresponds to this information in your textbook.
The site must cover one of the following topics: Cell respiration, The Photosynthetic process, or The process of Fermentation inside the Mitochondria. And it may not be a commercial site’s sales pitch. It may not be a college course descriiption. It may not be an encyclopedia entry.
You must write a full paragraph describing the site contents, authors (and credentials, if available), navigation, graphics, links, etc. Also include a few sentences about the material that you learned from this site to aid in your class knowledge.
Other example to chose from: The electron transport chain.
