This week we have done our readings and discussions on Conflict, Terrorism, and Peace, and we have also watched videos on the subject.
Considering the discussions on this subject, reflect on a regional conflict involving terrorism or war. Do some independent research to select your country, drawing from our class discussions, your readings of the class sources, newspapers, and web searches, or your knowledge of world affairs. Once you have selected the regional conflict, be sure to research the topic some more and then respond to the following elements:
Identify the conflict and its scope.
Provide a clear and concise historical summary of this conflict.
Identify the dynamics or root causes driving the aggression today.
Provide your reflection on this matter: Your thoughts on how the conflict could be resolved (if you believe there is a solution), your thoughts on the potential for global or more widespread consequences from this conflict, and what impact it could have on world stability.
Your entry should be 250 – 300 words. You should answer the prompts and show the sources of your information using APA 7th edition in-text citations.
