Stress can make you sick and can be the enemy or just looked at as the enemy. If you change your mind about stress, then you can change how your body’s response to stress. Stress can make you flourish. Me personally, I work great under pressure and stress. Looking at the signs of stress and telling yourself that this is a sign of energizing yourself while preparing you for the challenge. The way you view things and interpret things can make all the difference when it comes to a lot of things in life such as your views as an optimist or a pessimistic. Same thing goes for how you view stress. Rethinking about the responses your body is doing during stress as helpful can make a huge difference in how you handle actual stress. This can make you become more confident, ready, and the actual physical stress is lessened. Some things I do at work when I am under a lot of stress is honestly just take a deep breath and take a drink of water before diving into the thing making me stressed that I could be working on. The more stress I have while I am viewing this as helpful versus it harming me, I believe it makes me way more focused and productive which creates great results for not only myself but my team. I do great under pressure and love the challenge of the stress put on me because I know I can handle it with ease while being focused on the end game.
