Directions: Choose 2 of the Hawaiian Cultural Values from the list (attached) and write a narrative that discusses how you would apply these values to reduce climate change or positively impact the environment.
Requirements: Your narrative should:
1. Include at least 2 Hawaiian Cultural Values from the list (you may use more if you want to).
2. Explain how YOU believe these values could be used to reduce climate change or make a positive impact on the environment. This can be:
a. How you could reduce your environmental impact at home.
b. How communities could reduce climate change locally.
c. How the government and large companies could work to reduce climate change globally.
d. Any other ideas that you feel are important to express.
3. You can use first person “I” and “we” statements. No contractions.
4. Use academic language and vocabulary we have learned in class. Your narrative should be 200-words minimum and 250-words maximum.
